About You
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Berlin finance team. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping across our fund management entities. It is a great entry point into the world of venture capital finance for someone detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow with the role.

At Earlybird, your projects, responsibilities, and tasks will likely include:
Handling the independent booking of business transactions
Preparing and manage outgoing invoices
Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements
Collaborating with our external tax advisors and auditors
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our finance processes and tools
What we hope you bring to the role:
First experience in accounting through an internship, working student role, apprenticeship, or a relevant degree
Basic familiarity with DATEV is a plus; willingness to learn it is a must
A structured, detail-oriented working style
Proactive and reliable: you follow through, flag issues early, and take ownership
Openness to digital tools and process improvements
Fluent German and English (C1)
