About You
Do you have a deep interest in supporting emerging tech founders with migrant backgrounds, to achieve their dreams? Are you currently studying at a Berlin university and looking to expand your skills by helping us build out and implement our dynamic Vision Lab initiative? At Earlybird, your projects, responsibilities, and tasks will likely include:
  • Joining the Vision Lab core team and closing working together with the leads of the program to implement its goals
  • Researching potential startups and investors for Vision Lab
  • Supporting us to source and select startups
  • Communicating across various channels with Partners and startups
  • Setting up and maintaining the workshop program through effective communication with partners.
  • Organization of events (in-person, virtual and hybrid)
  • Preparing presentations and fundraising documents

Engagement Terms:
  • 16 hrs./week
  • Flexible work time
  • Hybrid offline/online; ability to work out of Earlybird office in Berlin Mitte and to participate in offline events is a requirement; the remainder is online/home office
  • Available for a minimum of 12 months
What we hope you bring to the role:
  • In-progress studies at a Berlin University
  • Working student or internship experience in a consulting, startup or venture capital company
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Global mindset and emotional intelligence skills giving you the natural ability to understand the challenges that startup founders with first-generation or migration backgrounds face to successfully launch businesses in Germany/Europe
  • Demonstrates high integrity in managing emails and excels in self-organization, ensuring timely and efficient communication
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Gsuite
  • Business-fluency in English and German
